Here at The Cut Buddy, we’ve always been extremely dedicated to giving back to the communities we care about. Recently, we’ve had numerous opportunities to expand the CutBuddy charity support, and we wanted to share the amazing results of our fundraising efforts.
A Successful Year For CutBuddy Charity Support
From Stop Soldier Suicide to AIM Foundation, there are several CutBuddy charity partners who we’ve had the pleasure of teaming up with. Plus, we’ve even been able to make direct donations to individual recipients! We’re always striving to make a difference, in any way that we can, and that means giving back to those in need. Here’s a recap of what we’ve been up to!
Helping Stop Soldier Suicide
Since November of 2022, The Cut Buddy has started working with Stop Soldier Suicide, a mission dedicated to providing consistent and confidential suicide-specific care to veterans in need. They’re leading the fight against veteran suicide, as veterans are 57% more likely to commit suicide as opposed to individuals who haven’t served. Stop Soldier Suicide offers an impressive multi-layered program, providing mental health support, alternative therapies, resources and referrals, and additional education and training to veterans in need. They focus on meeting at-risk individuals where they are and working to find the most effective tools for them.
Stop Soldier Suicide believes that no one who has ever served our country should feel alone, and we strongly agree with that statement. Currently, a percentage of all online sales go toward stopping soldier suicide. In the few months since our partnership, we’ve been able to donate over $3500 so far, and are looking forward to continuing to support this important cause. As an additional commitment to our heroes, those of us at The Cut Buddy have started our “Shave and Save Veterans” initiative, where we commit part of our proceeds to veterans with disabilities.
Partner Programs And Individual Recipients
Stop Soldier Suicide isn’t the only organization that we’ve had the pleasure of partnering with. Over the years, we’ve had the opportunity to work with VFW, AIM Foundation, and Friends of the Vet Center, Inc. On top of that, we had the privilege of directly supporting veterans in need by contributing to various Go Fund Me pages. Last year, donations for these partner programs and individual recipients totaled over $14,000. We’re so grateful to be able to make a difference in the lives of those who’ve served and protected us, and it’s all thanks to you!
Special Cut Buddy Discount Programs
Beyond our various fundraising efforts, we still found ways to show our gratitude to the individuals we respect and admire. That’s why we proudly offer discount programs for a variety of professions, including active military members and veterans, first responders, healthcare workers, and teachers. As a token of our appreciation, we always provide a discount of 25% off for anyone who falls under these categories. These hardworking people often don’t have time in their busy schedules to prioritize grooming, so home haircuts can be a great way to save time while still maintaining the appearance standards that are required for many of these jobs. We know that our world wouldn’t be the same without the hard work and dedication of these amazing individuals, so we do our best to give back where we can.
But these aren’t the only special discounts we offer at Cut Buddy – we have student and affiliate ones, too! We know students face their own unique challenges when it comes to managing tough coursework and the busy workweek, so we want them to feel comfortable and confident when they’re arriving on campus. Our discount for students includes 15% off all orders from Cut Buddy, providing them with more affordable access to quality grooming tools.
As you can see, we’ve had a pretty successful year of fundraising here at The Cut Buddy. When it comes to supporting our charity partners and donating to special fundraising missions, we’re proud to continue to further our efforts and keep committing parts of our proceeds to various programs.
