How to unlock my Bald Buddy?

New Version (Solid Black/Yellow stripe):

Flashing lock symbol on the Display: Hold the power button down for 3 seconds. You will see a count down 3, 2, 1 and then your shaver will turn on. To lock the unit again, simply hold the power button for 3 seconds.

NOTE: If there is an exclamation (!) symbol on the display screen, please see the FAQ "Bald Buddy Shaver: Cleaning Instructions!" You will need to deep clean your shaving head!

Original Version (Solid Black/ Camouflage):

Flashing lock symbol on the Display: Hold the power button down for 3 seconds. To lock the unit again, simply hold the power button for 3 seconds.

NOTE: If all 3 symbols (lock, battery, and charge symbol) are flashing on the display, please see the FAQ "Bald Buddy Shaver: Cleaning Instructions!" You will need to deep clean your shaving head!

How to clean my Bald Buddy?

ROUTINE AND DEEP CLEANING:

Basic Care & Deep Clean

1. Basic Care:

When motor slows:

Dip head in warm soapy water
Keep power on
Run until motor speed returns
Continue shaving

After each shave:

Dip head in warm soapy water
Run for 10 seconds
Run until motor speed returns
Let dry before storing

2. Deep Clean

When shaver isn't working properly:

Remove Head • Pull straight up only • No twisting
Open Carefully • Open halfway only • Center blade: untwist counterclockwise
Soak 1-2 hours in warm soapy water
Reassemble and Test • Put it back together • Run in warm water until smooth
Replace head every 3-5 months.

How often should I replace the Blades?

We recommend replacing the shaving head every 3-5 months depending on how much/ often you shave.
